-
AIC, Associazione Italiana di Cartografia
-
AIT, Associazione Italiana di Telerilevamento
-
AM/FM/GIS Italia, Automated Mapping/Facilities Management/Geographic Information Systems/Italia
The ASITA Conference represents a meeting opportunity for researchers, operators, teachers, professionals, public and private users, organizations and companies operating in the fields of acquisition, management and representation of territorial and environmental data.
The scientific target is to encourage the comparison and in-depth study of specific themes, while promoting a multi-disciplinary vision, integrated in the Geomatic field.
The ever increasing interest encountered in the past editions, 1997 in Parma, 1998 in Bolzano, 1999 in Naples, 2000 in Genoa, 2001 in Rimini, 2002 in Perugia, 2003 in Verona, 2004 in Rome, 2005 in Catania, 2006 in Bolzano, 2007 in Turin, 2008 in l'Aquila, 2009 in Bari clearly display the necessity to seriously, professionally and sinergically develop the geo-spatial information, between all the active components of the Geomatics, without neglecting the education, basic element in the preparation of capable and qualified Geomatic experts.
The integration between the various sectors is more and more evident, and the necessity to develop a greater sensitivity and attention to the management of the territory finds in the ASITA Conferences wide and concrete answers.
The very large number of communications (about 400) presented each year by general, parallel, special and poster sessions of the Conference, offers clear indications regarding the possible actions and territorial programming, also for a non professional audience.
The necessity to build integrated, or at least communicating systems, capable to share and spread the geographic information has fundamental significance. The evolution in detection, acquisition, processing, management and communication of geographic information technologies also pushes towards the same direction and requires the definition and proposal of architectures, standards and regulations related both to research and to the current applications, coordinated with Italian, European and international initiatives.
The exhibiting companies, operating in the various fields of Geomatics, offer an updated and qualified picture of the solutions required for a serious and professional operation.
For a long time ASITA has been concerned with this commitment, and invites you to participate this new and fundamental meeting in Brescia.
